After a year of agonizing over our housing situation in Jackson, our search is now coming to an end. Thanks to the slow housing market, we have landed ourselves a lot and will begin building a new house next month! We are so nervous and excited. We feel so grateful for this opportunity and we feel like God has heard our prayers and is truly mindful of us. There are moments in life when I feel totally amazed at the love He has for us. This whole process of moving to Jackson has been full of those moments. We have learned that answers come, but not always in the way or the time frame we expect.
Above, is a photo of Adam and the kids on the lot we are building on. What a dream!
Highlights from this summer:
Visits from friends - Megan Gillmore and her girls, The Syme family
Visits from family - Liz's parents, Liz's grandparents, Liz's brother Ben, Liz's brother Jeremy and his family, Adam's mom and sister Ali and kids, Adam's brother Bryce and his family
Vacations - 10th anniversary trip without the kids to San Juan Islands WA, Salt Lake City to see family, Bear Lake, Newport Beach CA (we unexpectedly ran into our dear friends the Davises from Maryland and our friends the Henriods from SLC)
Highlights around here - the usual Snake River beach, biking and roller-skiing on the new trail at Teton National Park, floating on the white water on the Snake River, kayaking and canoeing at String Lake, hiking the trails, Pioneer Trek to Martin's Cove to relive the pioneers coming West, playing at the park behind our house, catching bugs, snakes, frogs, and having a lemonade stand

Loved catching up on your summer. Congratulations on the upcoming house. How exciting! We are still waiting for some great thing to work out for us. For now we are sticking around but would love to move close to family at some point.
Hi Liz!
I absolutely loved looking at your beautiful kids' faces. You are an amazing mom, and I love your family! I wish we could connect more often. Life here is great! 3 years down, 4 to go. We love Philly, though.
I'd love to chat sometime, Liz. I miss you! Good luck with the new house, and all the other wonderful and crazy things that life with three kids brings!
xoxo
Wow, Lizzie! That lot is AMAZING! What a view you're going to get to wake up to every day! Love it... I'm excited to see the updates on how the house is coming along.

The kids' photos are adorable Liz! and I am so excited about the lot and the news about building a new home, especially with all that we chatted about during our visit this summer - which by the way was such a highlight for me as well. BEst of luck with the home. Nate has interviewed for St. Mark's and the Epic group in Salt Lake and goes back at the end of Spet. for his interview with the IMC group...we'll keep our fingers crossed. Love you guys!
